Brief

To increase participation of young people in producing cultural events and develop young theatre practitioners and entrepreneurs.

The project had to:

  • Provide positive role models to young people
  • Create the professional artists of the future
  • Create a strong network of partners
  • Create a hub and spoke framework which networks young people locally, nationally and internationally.

Designer Paul Oldman said "with such a striking name the job was made a lot easier...the name's unusual in that it's a statement, a piece of speech - so the obvious solution was to use a speech bubble! It's simple, but I think it's effective. And it reflects what IOT's all about - giving young people a voice and helping them take ownership".
