Brief
‘Enter_’ is a creative network that brings together artists, researchers and businesses that work at the intersection of art and new technology. Enter_Unknown Territories provided the challenge of representing these new spaces and the potential for collaboration between artists, businesses and academics.

Response
The name ‘Enter’ is a play on the keyboard control, the cursor is the queue to the reader to act/engage or 'enter' the debate. This was developed online where the website became a tool for the user to publish information, resources and views on new technology art. The original identity was applied to corporate and marketing literature, event materials and content managed event sites.

The visual approach was based around commissioned illustration which use's an iconic language drawn from the world of maps, suggesting the mapping of an area (or territory) without any geographic reference, similar to a tube or bus map without the names. Icons were then used to represent all the festival's activities. Blacks and silvers were used heavily to counterpoint the fluro green cursor colour that remained a constant throughout all deliverables.
