Our brief was to design a sketchbook style introduction to the college rather than a traditional standard prospectus and do so in such a way that would excite prospective students. The visual approach was to get the marketing materials to look 'handcrafted', not to appear 'over' produced or professional. Essentially looking like student work in a student prospectus – like work in progress. We slimmed down the college USPs and gave one each to a variety of illustrators to bring to life. Deliberately using a range of styles to echo the stylistic pathways open to each student.

Alongside this we designed and built an electronic prospectus that includes video, sound and galleries that provides more in-depth information for students and their parents. This mimics the student's desk or workspace as the prospectus mimics a sketchbook. Objects become entry points to content all based around an exploratory navigation system where icons or images turn into varied forms of multi-media.
